Chalk Talk
Mark Mark Description
CHECK:  Trail ends here… And continues in 1 of 369 degrees. The pack should spread out and search for more hash marks. 3 hash marks after this means you're On-On!
HASH MARK:  Follow this! Usually made of dollops of flour or lines of chalk. Finding three marks after a CHECK means you're On-On! You are on a trail. Not necessarily the RIGHT trail…but a trail none the less
TRUE TRAIL:  You are absolutely going the right direction. Only the hares can leave this mark
WHICHY WAY MARK:  Trail will go in one of these two directions. The first mark after this means you're on trail! On-On!
SONG CHECK:  Wait for this number of hashers to congregate. Sing a song from your favorite hash hymnal. Spread out and look for more hash marks. 3 marks means you're on a trail!
HOLD CHECK:  Wait for this number of hashers to congregate. Spread out and look for more hash marks. 3 marks means you're on a trail!
BOOB CHECK:  Cum across these? All male hashers must stop here! Female hashers have two options: 1- Go solve trail on your own. 2- Show your boobs so we can all go solve trail together!
PACKAGE CHECK:  Cum upon one of these? All female hashers must stop here! Male hashers have two options: 1- Be a manly man and solve trail on your own. 2- Show the ladies your package so we can all go solve trail together!
YBF:  You've Been Fucked! You're going the wrong way! Turn around and go back to the last CHECK and search for a new trail.
TURKEY / EAGLE SPLIT:  You have a decision to make! Turkey is easier and more of a walker's trail. Eagle is for the dumber-than-average hasher that wants more distance or difficulty. Watch for a merge later on trail.
BN:  BEER NEAR! You did it! You found the golden nectar. Take a load off…take your shirt off…stay a while. This is not the same as a "beer check" – you will stay until the entire pack gets in and a person in charge calls on-out again.
ON-IN:  That trail sucked! But now it's over and we can all go home…say our prayers…and be in bed by 8pm.
